Meet The Owner!
Hello Parents & Guardians!
My name is Hows King. I have been the owner of Discovery Point Suwanee since March 2008. In addition to my Suwanee School, I own Discovery Point Cumming. My goal has always been to create an environment where the children and my teachers thrive. I want everybody associated with Discovery Point Suwanee – our families, our children, our teachers, and my management team to take pride in being part of Discovery Point Suwanee. I firmly believe that we have made Discovery Point Suwanee the best childcare center in the area.
In addition to being an owner, I also have been honored to be elected twice to be President of the Georgia Childcare Association representing over 800 Childcare Providers in Georgia and the children we serve. I work closely with the Department of Early Child Care and Learning, the Governor’s Office and the Legislature to raise the quality of childcare throughout Georgia.
On a personal note, my wife Lora and I have been married over 25 years and we have adult children. My background is somewhat eclectic as I have an Engineering Degree from Duke University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. I spent 20 years in the corporate world before coming to my senses:) I have truly enjoyed getting to know the families, the children as well as my great team of teachers & managers. Discovery Point Suwanee is truly blessed with an exceptional group of gifted, committed Teachers and Directors.

Hello Parents & Guardians!
My name is Heni Hajdu. I have worked for Discovery Point for over 13 years now! I was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary. While living in Hungary, I received my bachelor’s degree in Education and this career followed me to the United States. I was in my early 20’s when I decided to move to the United States with my husband and my eldest son – he was 2 years old at the time.
Shortly after the move, I found a wonderful place at Discovery Point Duluth, to continue my educational career. I now have a 21-year-old son, Richie, a 16-year-old daughter, Lili, and 14-year-old twins, Vivi and Victor. They grew up with me at Discovery Point, and I truly believe that they are successful today because of the strong foundation they received in their early learning years. I know they were truly impacted in a positive way based on how much they miss their teachers, and oddly enough... the food! Aside from my career, in my free time I enjoy photography and spending time with my family and friends on the lake.
I am eager to get to know you and your family and am here to help with whatever you may need! We at Discovery Point believe that the best way to serve our families is to be united as a team in establishing our reputation as the recognized leader in providing care to infants, preschoolers and scholars in a fun and nurturing environment where everyone is excited to start and spend their day!
